Floats, Food and Flowers

Somehow the floats got completed and the Posada began today at noon on the nose.

I couldn't take a guess at the size of the crowd. There were lots of walkers but amazingly, back at the church, the nave was full.

Each float featured the Virgin of Guadalupe a little differently.

The weather was perfect for the procession.

The kids were darling, of course.

Everyone was decked out...

...and buying food and flowers...

...and replicas of Our Lady of course.

The flower vendor told me that tomorrow will be even more lively with singing beginning in the wee hours of the morning.
